Otter Creek Farm and CSDEA are proud to host the USDF L program Part 1 Session A, B and C
The USDF L Program is an educational program for individuals who are interested in becoming a judge or increasing their knowledge of judging. The program serves as continuing education for "L" graduates and USEF licensed judges. Part 1 - "Judges Perspective" is open to all USDF Members; this is the educational foundation of the program. Session A is an introduction to judging and biomechanics. View Vide Date: August 17-18, 2024 Session B is about judging criteria for gaits & paces, movements & figures. View Video September 28-29, 2024 Session C is about collective marks, equitation, rider biomechanics and basics." October 19-20, 2024 Space is limited to 40 total attendees. Preference will be given to Participants with the max Participants allowed of 30. Participants are required to attend all 3 sessions. 10 silent auditor slots will be available immediately and the remaining auditor slots will be allocated after Closing date for Participants. Closing date for Participants is July 13. Silent Auditors will be excepted until the workshop is full or until the day prior to the session- whichever comes first. Silent Auditors are welcome to apply prior to closing date but will not receive confirmation of a spot until we have determined how many participants are attending. Silent Auditor spots will be given out in the order the entries were received. Entries without payment attached will be placed at the end of the que. Silent Auditors may attend just one day of their choosing or all days. All though they will not be able to engage in dialog with the instructor, they are encouraged to submit questions on note cards which will be forwarded to the instructor. Refunds will be available only in the event that we were able to fill your spot. All refund requests must be received in writing prior to the start of the event. Refunds will be given minus a $25 office fee. Participants will need to sign in and out each day. Leaving more than an hour early or arriving more than an hour late will result in the session needing to be repeated. Participants should plan on the workshop taking the full day. Travel arrangements should be made with this in mind- Otter Creek Farm is about 1:15 minutes travel time from the MSP Airport.
