OCF hosts 3 USEA/USEF Recognized Horse Trials starting in May through September. Otter Creek HT offers Starter through Intermediate courses over rolling open terrain. The sandy loam footing provides some of the best footing in the country! The valley of OCF XC is the perfect place for viewing riders negotiate around the courses. Our Cross Country Courses are designed by John Williams, John is a USEF ‘S’ licensed course designer and technical delegate for Eventing and also a licensed FEI course designer and Technical Delegate. John has designed courses throughout the US, Canada, and Central and South America. We are pleased to have him on the grounds for our fall HT to help us celebrate our 25 year anniversary! OCF hosts 6 USEF/USDF recognized Dressage Shows that are USEF/NAYC Dressage Qualifiers and Regional Championship and National Championship Qualifiers. New for 2024: We added footing to the warm-up ring, improved the sound system for the Dressage Freestyle Ring. New stands, and new fences around ring A and B. We are proud to offer the Season Finals for the Red Pine Horse Show Association taking place a week after our fall Horse Trial. This show is a great opportunity for young and not so young riders to get a start at horse showing, complete with costume classes and hunter/jumper classes from cross rails to 3’ classes. Without our group of volunteers Otter Creek would not be able to continue hosting eventing and dressage shows! Thank you all for all the help before and during the events. Our volunteer coordinator Brandi Johnson will update you all on opportunities for the upcoming show season. Please contact her for more information on what you can do to help. Our team of volunteers and staff are working very hard to make each show the best it can be. We hope you will have a great experience during your visit with us!
